It is upon us once again, the first competition of the new year is here and I would love to see even more entries for events than last year! The first open competition will be held on the 8th and 9th of March.
Saturday 8th March 9:00am - Epee (role call is 9:00, 2nd 9:05 and fencing to commence by 9:10)
12:00 noon - Sabre (role call is 12:00, 2nd 12:05 and fencing to commence by 12:10)
Sunday 9th March 9:00am - Foil (role call is 9:00, 2nd 9:05 and fencing to commence by 9:10)
The competition will be held at Belmont City College directions can be found on the WAFA website (www.wafafencing.org.au)
Please email me with your entries soon! tournament@wafafencing.org.au or your club reps who can then forward entries to me.
Extra Information:
Please note there is a $10 late fee for not entering before 10:01pm the Wednesday before the competition. If you are a late entry please arrive 15 minutes before the first role call to enter.
If you are not present by the second role call you will not be able to fence so please ensure you arrive at the competition well before the first role call.
As always volunteers to help set up, score and preside are always welcome.
