National News
It is with great regret that the AFF advises the Australian Fencing community of the recent passing of John Ramsay. John Ramsay was the founding President of England Fencing, a long time technical director of British Fencing and also a longstanding friend and supporter of Australian Fencing. He was a stalwart of and great contributor to the Commonwealth Fencing Federation, serving on the CFF Technical Commission for several decades and more recently overseeing the 2010 Commonwealth Championships and Veteran Championships in Melbourne.
On behalf of the Australian Fencing community, the AFF extends our sincere sympathy to John Ramsay’s family and friends.
Funeral details are expected be announced via the England Fencing website at: www.englandfencing.co.uk |
