Weapons check will be open on Thursday the 7th from 5pm to 7pm. On each day of the competition it will be available from 8am to 3pm.

Equipment and Affiliation Requirements
Full FIE equipment is required for this competition. FIE jacket and breeches plus an 800N underplastron are mandatory and will be checked on the strip prior to each pool round and direct elimination bout. Masks must be FIE 1600N.
Weapons must have FIE-homologated blades and bear the FIE stamp on the forté.
Foil weight, and épée weight and travel, will be tested on the strip at the start of each bout. The FIE-standard penalties will be applied for weapons that fail weight and/or gauge.
Fencers must be full (Senior or Junior) members of both their own state association and the Australian Fencing Federation, or, for visiting fencers, full members of their state and national bodies as appropriate.
